Surrounded by mountains on three sides with three rivers converging here, the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA) is one of the most dynamic and competitive economic regions in China. It is also a metropolitan cluster with a pleasant climate and clear air.

With increased visibility and ever-rising building heights, photographers are able to capture images of buildings in other cities at a distance, with the longest distance being over 90 kilometers. Toward evening, in Futian District, Shenzhen, netizen @自导 captured the landscapes and buildings of Zhuhai and Macao 60 kilometers away with his camera and a 70-200 mm lens. With the sunset glow adding radiance to the clearly visible city landmarks, such as the Shenzhen Bay Bridge, the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, the Hengqin International Financial Center, the Macau Tower and the Grand Lisboa Hotel, a refreshing and splendid summer scene is unfolding before our eyes.

Recently, netizen @小菜一蝶~Rachel left Guangzhou for Dongguan, where she captured a wonderful scene of the "slim waist" outlined by the sun from a very far distance. After spotting the Canton Tower in the viewing frame successfully, the photographer managed to record the perfect scene of a red sun gradually falling down behind the Canton Tower.

At five am, netizen @珠海痴鱼 arrived at the Gree Coast Apartment Hotel in Zhuhai to take photos of the sunrise at the building of Shenzhen Ping An International Financial Center 48 kilometers away. Carrying a camera with a 200-600 mm lens, he waited for the sun to rise with other visitors. After a while, the sky started to brighten up while the clouds gradually turned orange as the sun slowly rose from behind the Ping An Building.

Guangzhou"s landmark buildings shot from Zhongshan

Netizen @飞行小伙 has unexpectedly captured several landmark buildings in Guangzhou 60 kilometers away from Zhongshan with an unmanned arial vehicle, such as the Guangzhou East Tower (also known as the Chow Tai Fook Financial Center), the West Tower (or the Guangzhou International Finance Center) as well as the Canton Tower.
